Campbell River Wildcats Women's Hockey is pleased to welcome your team's participation in our Weekend Tournament from March 29th to April 1st, 2012. A luncheon will be provided on Saturday for all players and coaches in the mezzanine upstairs from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
All women's teams are guaranteed three games. BCAHA rules will govern the women's games in the tournament. Each women's game will be 1 1/4 hours in length. Each game will include a 5 minute warm up, 3 -15 minutes stop time periods, 2 minute break between periods with 2 minutes at the end for handshakes and MVP prizes. There will be 4 divisions for women with 4 teams in each division. Top 2 teams from each division will advance to a final game on Sunday.
All Mens teams are guaranteed three games. CARHA rules will govern the men's games in the tournament. Each men's game will be 1 1/2 hours in length. Each game will include a 5 minute warm-up, 2 - 20 minute stop time periods, ice clean between periods and 2 minutes at the end for handshakes and MVP prizes. The men's division will consist of two pools of 4 teams. The winner of each pool will advance to a final game on Sunday.
